هذا واقع مؤلم للغاية. يمكن للمرء أن يعتقد أن جنبلاط قبض غالياً ثمن خيانة شعبه. لقد طلب منهم تدمير أماكنهم المقدّسة والسير في خطى معلمي النصرة. هل هذه تسوية؟ لقد غيّر جنبلاط انتماءاته في المنظومة السياسية اللبنانية أكثر من مرة، لكنه غالباً جداً ما كان يدعم جماعة 14 آذار وحركة المستقبل، وهي امتداد يدفع جيداً للسلطة السعودية في لبنان. إني بالفعل أفتقد الأخبار باللغة الانكليزية. ويشير مون اوباما إلى أن هذا يضع الدروز في موقف الاختيار بين النصرة وإسرائيل. إنها المقالة الخامسة في هذه الصفحة.

This is really pretty awful.  One would think that Jumblatt has been well paid for betraying his people.   He told them to destroy their places of worship and follow Al Nusra's teachers.   This is a compromise?.    Jumblatt has shifted sides in the Lebanese political system more than once, but he has most often supported March 14 and the Future Movement, a well paid extension of Saudi power into Lebanon.    I really miss Al Akhbar English.    Moon of Alabama points out that this puts the Druze in a position of choosing between Al Nusra and Israel.   It's the Fifth article down the page.

From reading recent articles by Fisk, It looks like he may have broken off with Walid Jumblatt.  There was a theory that Fisk basically mirrored Jumblatt's stand on Syria.  It doesn't seem to be true today.
